Our founders, Jim and Jason Stephen, started Gateway Construction in 2001 to build quality homes, multi-family buildings and more. Over the past two decades, we have completed hundreds of homes, apartment buildings and commercial projects, making us one of the most respected construction companies in Wyoming.

Looking for a move-in-ready home? We have several newly constructed homes available in our communities. Although many of our homes follow standard floor plans, we customize finishes, colors and styles to make each one unique, modern and fresh.
Choose from various floor plans, styles, and finishes, with homes ranging from three to five bedrooms and 1,300 to over 5,000 square feet. Options include two- to four-car garages at various price points. We currently offer homes in Kensington Heights or on individual lots. Each new home we build showcases our commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

We know not everyone has the best eye for colors or finishes, but looking at our already-built houses can give you a glimpse of what’s possible and spark your imagination.

If you want a home completely tailored to your family’s needs, we can build a custom or semi-custom home just for you. Our five-phase development process includes:
Begin by selecting a community with a realtor, then work with one of our associates to customize a floor plan or create one from scratch. After securing loan approval, you’ll meet with your project manager to finalize the design before construction begins.
Once permits are secured, we lay the foundation, construct the walls, install plumbing, and position cable and phone outlets.
After passing energy inspections and installing drywall, we’ll work on interior details like doors, cabinets, baseboards and lighting. This is where your custom home starts to feel like your space.
This stage includes landscaping, paint touchups and professional cleaning, with thorough inspections to ensure move-in readiness.
Before move-in, you’ll complete a walkthrough to understand your home’s features and address any final questions.
