A native of Laramie, Wyo., Jason graduated from the University of Wyoming with a M.S. degree in Civil Engineering and later acquired a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Wyoming and Colorado. He and his dad, Jim, established Gateway Construction, LLC in 2001 as a small general contractor, eventually expanding into full-service residential and commercial construction. The company’s first single-family custom home was completed in Cheyenne’s Western Hills subdivision in 2004. Since that time, Gateway has steadily expanded to become the area’s largest home builder, with a staff of 35 office and field employees that has constructed more than 500 projects throughout Cheyenne, Laramie and northern Colorado.
Jason has a passion for designing and building projects of all kinds. He brings strong leadership and remarkable work ethic to his position, and holds the Gateway team to high standards at each stage of the construction process with this motto: “We’ll never be perfect but we can always get better!” Jason personally walks homes to ensure no detail has been missed prior to turning over the keys to a new homeowner and enjoys a huge sense of fulfillment when clients are happy with their completed project.
While he now heads up a multi-million-dollar company, Jason hasn’t let success go to his head. His office door is always open and everyone is greeted with a friendly smile. In his free time, Jason enjoys backpacking, fishing, camping and scuba diving.
