Corey is a Cheyenne native who spent the early years of his career framing houses, followed by 15 years working for the Union Pacific Railroad and several years as an operations director for a mineral manufacturer. He joined the Gateway team in 2025 due to the recommendation of a friend.
In the field, Corey provides on-site supervision and maintains effective communication with Gateway project managers to ensure successful project outcomes. He excels at scheduling trades and staying calm, cool and collected regardless of the day’s challenges.
Corey loves a good ribeye steak and the “Lonesome Dove” novel and series. In his free time, he enjoys roping, training horses, hunting, fishing and working on his wife’s long to-do list.
