Eric is originally from Pine Bluffs, Wyo., and has always loved working with his hands. He has spent nearly three decades learning every aspect of the construction industry. In 1994, not long after graduating high school, he started out as a framer’s assistant, later progressing to framing crew leader, trim carpenter and superintendent for companies in the Cheyenne area. Eric started with Gateway in 2008 thanks to a referral from a local supplier. His calm demeanor, depth of knowledge and organizational skills have contributed greatly to the company’s growth trajectory over the past decade.

As senior project manager, Eric is involved in homes and commercial projects from initial conception. He meets with buyers to work out solutions to ensure their home suits their situation, oversees the cost and build throughout, and presents the new home once it is completed. He enjoys being part of the process of creating beautiful homes that people are excited to live in, and other projects that serve their owners well for many years after they are completed.

Eric has been involved with the Southeast Wyoming Builders Association (SEWBA) since 2008, serving as president from 2012-14. He has also been involved with the Climb Wyoming Program as an instructor for two years, with the goal to help low-income single mothers to achieve self-sufficiency through career training and placement.

In his free time, Eric enjoys woodworking, golf and fishing.
